Hours and benefits for year-round irrigation work.
Opportunity checked October 16, 2026. Availability and terms may change.
Dallas Arboretum advertises year-round, full-time irrigation work at $18–$20 hourly. Applicants need experience, a Texas driver’s license and a TCEQ technician/irrigator credential, or the ability to obtain it within the employer’s timeframe.
For your application, prepare one clear example of diagnosing a repair problem, selecting a response and checking the result. Explain what you did and what you learned, using your own work without disclosing private customer details.
TCEQ distinguishes the technician credential from the broader irrigator license: technicians perform specified work under a licensed irrigator’s supervision. Ask how that structure applies to this position and confirm the employer’s licensing timeline before accepting duties.
Hours are Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with occasional weekend on-call and holiday availability. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k) and paid leave; eligibility is unspecified.
